Better Homes and Gardens Signature Brokers has added two agents to its roster of Realtors representing home buyers and sellers through the Greater Chattanooga area: Yamilee Nielsen and Denver Denham.

Nielsen is a Houston native who made Chattanooga her home after she and her family decided quality matters more than quantity.

While Nielsen cherishes her memories of growing up in the fourth most populous city in the U.S., she’s grateful to have found a new home in the Volunteer State, which she poetically says is beautiful on both the outside and within.

“Tennessee has bestowed upon us the bounties of its glorious rivers and enchanting rolling hills, while Chattanooga has welcomed and embraced us with the warmth of the people who call this little piece of heaven home,” she enthuses.

Nielsen says her belief that quality matters more than quantity extends to her clients, as well.

“I believe developing honest relationships offers a more personal view of what’s important to each client,” she says. “My buyers and sellers will never be just another number in my book. I will always strive to give each client my undivided attention, assistance and availability.”

Nielsen hopes to work with first-time homebuyers, luxury home seekers and people who are relocating to the Greater Chattanooga area, but she says she’s available to “make the home buying and selling process as smooth and hassle free as possible for everyone.”

Although Nielsen plans to focus on the Chattanooga, Ooltewah, Hixson, Lookout Mountain and Signal Mountain areas, she says she’s willing to go wherever her clients need her to.

Nielsen says she became a Realtor because she wanted to be in the “dream-building business.”

“After being an owner and seller of real estate, I understand how stressful the process can be. A lot of work goes into every purchase. Many emotions are involved, as well.

“I understand all of these challenges and aim to accommodate every one my clients’ needs. Whether it’s a smile of content from a seller who’s able to move on to another home or the happiness and hugs from an overjoyed first-time homebuyer, this is why I do what I do.”

Outside of work, Nielsen enjoys learning about different languages and cultures, creating custom cakes and desserts and singing karaoke. She also loves the theater, and supports the Chattanooga Theatre Centre.

But above all, Nielsen says she enjoys meeting new people, which she says makes Chattanooga the perfect home for her and her family.

“It is said that Texas and Tennessee have a special bond that dates back to The Battle of The Alamo. Texas will always remember and be grateful for our beloved Tennessee Volunteers,” she says. “And I am grateful that Tennessee has welcomed and opened its arms to my family.”

Born and raised in Soddy Daisy and currently living in Georgetown, Denham is a lifelong resident of the Greater Chattanooga area. However, she’s new to the real estate profession.

“After my husband and I went through the process of selling our first home and moving into a new one, I knew I was destined to be a Realtor,” she says. “Only a few days in, and I already love what I do because of the amazing people at Signature Brokers.”

As a new agent, Denham is planning to focus on the Georgetown, Birchwood, Harrison, Ooltewah, Apison, Soddy Daisy and Sale Creek areas, but like Nielsen, she’s willing to go wherever her clients need her to.

Also, like Nielsen, Denham is looking forward to helping her clients find their dream home. “Whether it’s a house in a luxury subdivision or a quaint cabin on the lake, I want my clients to find a place they’re happy and proud to call home,” she says.

Denham says her intimate knowledge of the Greater Chattanooga region will help her to meet the needs of her buyers and sellers. “I’ve lived here my entire life and know the surrounding areas like the back of my hand,” she adds.

When Denham is not assisting clients, she and her husband can be found rolling across local mountain terrain in their RZR Side by Side or navigating local waters in their boat.

But work is always only a phone call or text away for Denham, who says she’s in the business to serve.

“I want to make my clients feel comfortable. I will listen to their needs and make each homebuying experience personal and fun.”
